Emery’s pov.
Hundreds of candles flickered around us , they outlined a path that led to the water , and as we approached the water, it formed a love shape with three words carefully layered in between. ‘I love you.’
My eyes widened and my mouth agape . I stood there , taking in everything. My heart raced because I’m touched by his actions. He’s making me feel like I deserve all this . But I don’t think so.
I turned to him, my eyes teary with amusement , “ You…you did all this for me ?”
He held up my face, his gaze never leaving mine, “ Yes for you . For us .” His touch sent chills to my body.
He placed my hand in his and held it like he was afraid I would pull away, “ Emery, I think I’m falling in love with you.”
