Hello Everyone
Thank you for reading my first ever dabble into the world of fiction writing.
I hope this work has intrigued you enough to want to read the next part (which is on its way).
I wrote this novel in 2016 when I was in my final year of high school, my imagination has always been wild to the point of daydreaming of sword fights and ancient quests instead of focusing on trigonometry equations.
Sy is my first male lead, at first I struggled to portray him as I wanted because I didn't want him to be overly sarcastic and stand offish but at the same time his experiences need to filter into his character.
Sarah was the same, I didn't want her to be too sweet and kind because everyone has their rough edges in life. I also didn't want her to be too rough so that I could portray how people take to bad experiences differently. In the future parts, you will see more of her character and the way she adapts (A small spoiler for everyone ;) )
Lee-Ann and Jason are enigma and that is how I wanted them to be, I dont to let out all of the secrets in Pandora's box just yet. Stay Tuned!
I do plan to update the cover art on this novel and I hope you join me on this journey and the many more to come.
Thank you once again for completing The Scythe-Bearer and look out for the sequel, "The Shadow-Walker"
