Raya texted Chloe the address of the cafe. And climbed out of bed to get ready. The atmosphere at the cafe was buzzing, but it was nothing compared to the energy at their table. Chloe was practically vibrating, her laughter cutting through the morning clatter of coffee cups and hushed conversations. She looked absolutely radiant, and she wasn't making any effort to hide the faint, purplish love bites peeking out from the edge of her collar—badges of honor from the "magic" she’d bragged about earlier. "I’m just saying," Chloe said, leaning back with a mischievous grin while Marcus tried—and failed—to look professional in his suit. "The city air clearly agrees with us. We are glowing, right?" Killian leaned back, nursing a black coffee and watching his PA with a knowing, sharp-eyed smirk.
