Rosie sat on the balcony with an expression of delight. “You are amazing, darling. You did all this on your own and turned it into an oasis.”
Charlotte grinned and joined her at the table. It was set for four and looked beautiful with candles and a small bouquet of asters in the middle. There were no other lights on out here, so the candles cast interesting shadows and the scent of fresh herbs in their pots made her hungry.
