Logan Over the next couple of weeks, we managed to get Jacob acclimated to Loveland, and our family pretty easily. My mom couldn't stop gushing over how adorable he was. And he took to her just the same. Aiden and Machaela took to being big brother and sister very well. Always tending to him. Making sure he was happy. He asked about his grandparents every now and then. And we called often.  At night, when the house was quiet and everyone was sleeping, I would do my normal walk through. Locking all the doors. Closing all the windows. Turning off all the lights. One night I went to the cabinet for a bourbon. As I took the bottle out I heard the little pitter patter of feet. Behind me. I turned to see little Jacob, peaking around the corner by the stairs.  "It's okay. You can come out now.
