Lyra's POV. My ears were practically ringing at this point as I started thinking in reverse. If anything that she was saying was true I needed to be very careful about the things that I permitted into my life or else I was going to completely lose it. It was quite a hard truth to tell myself. I was just hoping that I was able to get out of the problems that I had gotten myself into practically before I lost my mind. "You cannot be serious. You definitely know that I do not have any affiliations with those dark magic." I refuted her claims. "I would have been very convinced if you did not look as shocked as you did. It's not about any of those things, it's about the things that you represent. You have a weird way of coming to terms with many things. What do you expect me to think?"
