Maria was happy when Catherine insisted that she join Loe to eat his own food, with that she went over to where Melissa had kept the bag pack, brought out the food flakes and went to sit down at the seat which was beside Leo's bedside.
She helped Leo sit up on his bed, and handed him a spoon as they both began eating.
Melissa ate with Catherine but she wasn't comfortable that Leo was sharing his food with Maria.
During the course of Leo eating the food, it went the wrong way thereby causing him to choke.
He began to cough uncontrollably as Melissa, who was eating with Catherine, jumped up from her seat and rushed to Leo's aid.
