Chapter Thirty Six
Flora gave Kim an Expression to keep her voice down, when she looked up and saw her mum and dad descending down the stairs.
Kim upon seeing them stopped by talking and watched until they got to the dining room, they both greets Me and Mrs Douglas as they have their seats, the maid who is incharge of the food came forward and opened the bowl of scrambled egg and served them with a spoon into each of the plates that were at the table, after that she poured tea into their cups and added a toasted bread to their plates.
"Enjoy your meal," she said and left the dining room.
Kim began eating first before any other person could pick up their spoon.
Flora ate her food slowly, finding it difficult to swallow most of the time, but she tried hard so her parents wouldn't notice
