The sun rose to a bright morning. Unfortunately, it didn’t help my mood. I compared the Monday blues to an ass-kickin" and a wicked hangover. I wanted to hide under my covers and stay in bed all day. I glanced at the alarm clock as I blew out a deep sigh as the bright numbers stared at me. Dang! It was 5 in the morning. The residuals from last night still clung to my skin like a bad rash. I wasn’t looking forward to another altercation with Sara. Whenever she decided to show her face again, I reckoned I’d worry about that when I crossed that bridge.
