By the time my tears dried, I had lifted my eyes and realized I was lost. Panic rushed over me. The crowd had thinned, and the park had grown dim. The rides, the lights, the aimless yatter that once wafted in the air had waned. Dumping Sam might’ve not been such a wise decision. My impulsiveness cost me a ride home.
