Silas POV
Josephine prowled down the stairs from the room I had given her inside my quarters. The alpha was eager to let her spend her time with him in his bed, but I still felt furious that she had run away leaving Cheryl in The Dark Moon territory. I needed her to help me find the portals. Selene had changed the locations and hidden them so Eris was unable to find them, and before Cheryl was captured, she had been working on a spell to locate them all. Without her, I wasn't sure how I would find them.
“More wolves have gone. I can’t find any traces of them,” James informed me.
I spun around so I could get a better look at him, letting my annoyance flow through my words.
“You incompetent moron! How do you just lose wolves? Which wolves have gone?”
“More of the original Bloodhowlers.”
