Fayly POV The day seems so dark and dismal. The clouds are black and look heavy, but the rain sprinkling from them is light, coating everything beneath them in a light mist. I stand at the window, looking off into the distance as memories of my aunt and uncle flood my mind. Every time I’ve closed my eyes today, their faces have greeted me, smiling happily at things long forgotten now. I see the way my aunt's eyes sparkled when she smiled and hear my Uncle’s laughter, painful reminders I will never see or hear them again. “I wish I could have stopped him, but I didn’t know it was him. Eris has managed to stop us from seeing what she is planning.” I feel his strong arms wrap around my waist as his scent envelops me, filling my turbulent soul with calmness.
