  Aurora Stormwolf awoke, her head pounding in time with the rhythm of her heart. The sour smell of alcohol lingered, but she felt even more the call of the wolf bubbling up inside her. She stood up slowly, and a wave of nausea washed over her. Her thoughts mingled with the inner howl of Nymeria, her she-wolf, who moaned in disgust. She'd lost control, too much accumulated anger and frustration. Alcohol had been nothing but an escape.   "You should learn to control that fire inside you, sister," Axel Stormwolf said, a glint of concern in his piercing gray eyes. He handed her a glass of water, along with some hangover remedies.
