Just after Aurora ended her call with her eldest brother, Steven Rousvett rushed in, an impatient look on his face.
"Miss Aurora, Alaric Bloodhowl is back! He's so shameless! It's a miracle he hasn't considered a career in insurance sales!"
"His tenacity in helping his dear fiancée is truly admirable."
Aurora didn't even look up, focused on signing documents.
However, Steven detected a hint of jealousy and bitterness in her tone. He wasn't sure if it was real or just his imagination.
"Miss Aurora, I'll personally go downstairs and chase him off."
"No, invite him in." Aurora capped her pen and raised an eyebrow.
