Was it weird to still cling to someone after knowing they don't really want you around? Jeongguk always questioned that, why he still clung to the wrong people. Instead of going to Jimin or someone who really cares for him he was in the counselor's office. Laying on the big leather sofa, with his hood over his head.
"Why does no one like me Namjoon? Am I that terrible to be around? Am I clingy?" Jeongguk's voice came out broken and it wasn't like he wanted anyone to like him but it'd be nice to have people other than his cousin care about him.
"Well first off Jeongguk you're too sensitive, you're dumb, and you're naive. Those three things don't go together. I knew I didn't like you as soon as you started going out with Taehyung. It flipped a switch and showed me that you honestly don't care about yourself. You have no self-worth and I don't like people who don't have self-worth."
The highschooler sniffled playing with his little sweater paws as he looked up at Namjoon through his lashes. Eyes watering, and lips quivering. It was honestly hard to not break at the sight of the boy, but Namjoon was trained for things like this. He sighed as he got up and went over to the sniffling ravenette. He got into the position of a squat and patted Jeongguk's head.
"How about this? If you show me that you have self-worth or at least some kind of self-recognition per se, I'll...be your friend."
"Really?! I'll have the best self-worth you've ever seen!"
"Yeah yeah, now get to it. Now if you have some self-worth you'll get back to class."

Lunch had come after Jeongguk finished with his third class of the day. Luckily he had packed himself a lunch. It consisted of fried chicken, dirty rice (a/n: if any of y'all know what dirty rice is, Y'all know its bomb and if not it's originally a traditional Creole dish, creoles are mainly people from Louisiana:)) and seasoned fries.
He made his way over to his usual table, which the table the teachers sat at. Jimin was there too, they sat there with Joon, Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok. It wasn't normal for teachers to sit with students but it was Yoongi's school and Yoongi makes the rules.
As soon as he had sat down Jeongguk immediately began to eat. He was starving from not eating anything all day, so this was like heaven for him. Jimin was too busy chatting with Hoseok and Namjoon was talking with his husband so it was awkward. When he turned around to talk with someone and was met with Yoongi.
"I-I'm not so h-hungry anymore I'll get going, I need to go practice the routine anyway." While Jeongguk was getting up to walk away he felt a hand on his wrist pulling him back down.
"Don't let me ruin your lunch Jeongguk, you haven't even finished your food yet."
"Why would you care about it anyway, I remember you saying you don't like me and that we're not friends. Leave me alone."
"Jeongguk, if I have to go to drastic measures and force feed you I will. You need to eat so either we'll do this my way or we'll do this the hard way."
"I-I'm j-just n-not h-hungry anymore..."
The ravenette heard another voice cut into their conversation.
"Jeongguk what did I say about self-worth, eat."
"Okay, Namjoon."
Jeongguk shoved another fry in his mouth and continued to eat quietly, but he could feel Yoongi's eyes drilling holes into his head.

"You know Jeongguk I honestly think you overwork yourself and then do bad things to deal with it, which is why you're suspended as captain right now."
"Shut up Jimin, I don't care." Jeongguk was still practicing their new routine. His shirt was drenched from all the water he kept pouring on his head to keep himself cool. Although he was tired he kept going and going, even if he wasn't gonna be able to participate in nationals this year he was gonna be there just in case.
"I'm just saying take a break you know. I have a good massage place I like to go to in Manhattan, it's like a 37-minute drive but it's worth it."
"There's no way I'm driving all the way to Manhattan for a massage."
"Come on Jeongguk, give yourself a break, here's there business card it's a place called Bliss."
"Well, I don't wanna go."
"I'm not asking you anymore, I'm telling you. You're going to go get a massage."
"I hate you."
"You love me."

"Hello, yes I'd like to set up an appointment. Is this Friday okay? Um yeah, I can be there around that time. Yeah, bye."
Jeongguk fell onto the bed and sighed. Rubbing his hands up and down his face. He wasn't still sure about what he did. It was honestly gonna pretty weird, he had never gotten an actual massage before.
He pressed his face into his pillow and just laid there. If you just stormed into the room you'd think he's probably trying to suffocate himself, but don't worry he's not.

It was Friday when Jeongguk had actually come back to reality. It was like he was living on some type of mode that got him through the day. It's weird how he doesn't remember anything that was happening these past few days.
Jeongguk was just ready to go get this massage and get it over with.

Bogum threw his jacket on quickly as tried to get to get to work. He had already woke up late, and having already missed a day of work he didin't want to miss another one. As he hopped into his car, he sighed. There was no denying that he was gonna be late, so he hurriedly dialed his bestfriends phone number.
"Taehyung I know I ask you this a lot, but can you please cover for me?"
