I drove towards home feeling excited to do the project. Right, the project! I scoffed. I was excited to see Liana and I wasn’t afraid to admit it, at least not to myself. It was not like she was going to know that.
She was going to know only what I wanted her to know. It had always been like that, and it was going to be like that, this time, too.
And that way, she could... she could go on hating me and I could...
I sighed as I thought about her. My heart beat was strangely faster when I thought of how she was on top of me that one time I mistakenly slept in her room.
Her eyes... I could still remember those blue blue eyes that seemed to want to swallow me.
