Holly    Amara and Holly entered through the front door and Amara shut the door behind them. She closed her eyes, clasped her hands together at her waist and began chanting quietly:   “Light fill and bless this home Let none enter who mean harm to those within”   She repeated the incantation three times before turning her attention to Holly, “Come, we’ll sit at the kitchen table. Do you want water?” “No, I’m okay. Thanks, Mara.” Holly waited in the entryway for the sound of Salix’s motorcycle to start and drive off, but it didn’t. She wondered what he was waiting for.
