Holly couldn’t go back and sit alone in her apartment. Her mind jumped from thought to thought without reason, going over all of the events of the day. Instead of heading up the stairs to her apartment, she decided to walk to few blocks to the gym. As she walked, she noticed that she was not the least bit sore after her car accident. She conscientiously moved her arms, legs, neck, and back still didn’t find stiffness or tenderness anywhere.
Salix’s healing was amazing. Without that, she would have faced a long road to recovery. Her thoughts wandered endlessly through all the horrid possibilities, including the fact that today could have been the last day of her life. Her heart raced and her hands shook.
