CHAPPA 3
ROSSALIND'S POV
My eyes went wide, my hands sweaty, I couldn't even speak if I wanted to.
I looked down at my hands resting on my lap, wondering how I? The social freak can be something so...important?
I looked up back at the young man, looking at he's features for any sign that he was lying.
"You're wrong, you must be. I-I-I can't be that child. I'm a walking loser on legs! How can something like this be possible!?" I then started to pace around the small kitchen.
"Because it isn't! That's it!" I yelled as I pointed my index finger at him accusingly, then I started to continue my pacing around.
"I'm loosing my mind. That's it! I'm loosing my mind and I'm dreaming I'm someone powerful!" I explained to myself, trying to believe my own words.
"s**t, Rosa. Why did you have to dream this out of all dreams!" I whispered scolded myself.
That's when I felt my shoulders being tugged as I was forced to sit on the stool.
"Enough." He's voice cold and he's eyes full of frustration.
"Whether you like it or not, you're the heir and fourth child of Queen Sophia. And you will reunite with your siblings and retake your rightful throne." He snapped with so much anger, but also hopeless frustration.
"I can't." I whispered lowly after a while of silence.
"If this is true, and I'm actually not insane. Then all I can do is give you advice for help. Nothing else." I explained as I looked up at him.
He looked disappointed and angry but held it back with a plain expression.
"Find my so called siblings, and let them fight for you. If they are who you say they are, then they should be able to help. Not me..." I mumbled the last bit, but the young man only clenched he's fist. Making them turn white.
"You aren't helping me, you fool! You're helping your people! Your rightful people! And no one can find you siblings, no one! No one besides you!" He explained.
"What, no. You're lying. If you found me, then you surely can find them. They should live close right? In another old cottage?" I asked, feeling uneasy.
"Correction. I never found you, you found me. And as for your siblings, no one knows where they are, no one besides you, like I said."
"Besides me!?" I felt like I was going to faint, this can't be happening.
"How." I asked after composing myself after a while of deep breaths and reminding myself I wasn't insane.
It helped after repeating it a dozen times.
"Your mother was to give birth to you and your siblings. But the King grew jealous. He was never praised nor giving the attention he selfishly desired. Your mother however was praised to the moon and back for baring so many children, it's rare to conceive 4 children at once. But on top of that you were all powerful children."
"What else happened?" I asked intrigued, wanting to know more.
He took a deep breath in and sighed heavily. As if not wanting to continue the story.
"He tried to kill he's own wife and children, all for the sake of not wanting to share the spotlight. He thought he killed you, the night of you and your siblings arrival. No one knew your mother was in labour besides a few maids and the King. So, he tried to kill you, kill your siblings. And blame it on Queen Sophia, so that she may be hung for the murder for the promised children."
"Did she-" I felt hesitant to ask, too afraid of what the answer would be.
"No, she didn't." He replied with a sad, strained smile.
"You time jumped when the King laid he's first hit on your mother's womb. You time jumped and took your siblings with you."
Wait, what?
