I kissed Emma, feeling the heat and passion between us. It was hard to believe that, after all the ups and downs, we were finally here, sharing an intimate moment. When we pulled away from the kiss, I looked into her bright green eyes and smiled. “Do you want to go home?” I asked, concerned about her comfort.
She smiled back at me and said, “Sure, I'm ready to go home. I just want to make it clear that I'm not the kind of girl who jumps into bed on the first date.”
I was a bit surprised. “I hadn't even thought about that, Emma. I just want you to feel comfortable.”
She laughed, easing my tension. “You need to relax, Bobby.”
