Barry's eyes widened in surprise and shock. He stuttered once more before managing to respond, “Half a million dollars? That's... that's a lot of money, Mr. Parker.”
I nodded confidently, knowing I was making the right offer. “Barry, you'll be taking on a significant responsibility in this project. This is my offer.”
Barry seemed to consider the proposal for a moment and then finally nodded. “All right, Mr. Parker. I accept.”
I extended my hand to him and shook it gratefully. “Great, Barry. You won't regret it. Now, we need to start planning how we'll execute this identity swap discreetly.”
As we began to work out the details of the plan, I knew I was entering uncharted territory, but I was determined to do whatever was necessary to achieve my goals.
