The first semester was over, we all went home for holiday.
Saro: good morning mom
Mom: how was your night?
Saro: fine mom
Mom: so how was school, the semester is over what do u think
Saro: school was fun and exam was okay, but they are exams are the toughest so far.
Mom: that is why it is called university.
Saro: true mom
Mom: may God grant u the best
Saro: Ameen
The holidays was over and it was time to resume for the second semester, mom had someone drive saro to school, but along the way the car broke down, it was having issues. The driver was like a street son to saro mom (hajiya) so the driver promised to protect saro, he went in search of a mechanic, leaving saro in the car, as a simple girl and very innocent, she was not scared of anything, she was busy taking pictures, when her mom called and she told her mom about the car, the mom was sacred and told her father, saro's father accused the mom of wanting to harm saro.
Saro's father (Alhaji): anything that happens to my only daughter I will arrest u and that drive.
Mom calling, saro: hello
Saro: don't be afraid, am fine
Mom: do you know where you are, the road is no good now and it's almost evening, look for any and go to your father's people close by.
Saro: okay mom, if I do that will u be happy?
Mom: yes
Saro: okay ma
Hang up and went out of the car, she saw 2men who wanted to get something and went to meet them, she told them about the car and showed them her school ID card.
Driver: saro, saro. Sorry sir, you guys can leave she is with me
Stranger: are u sure, girl do you know him
Saro: yes, am with him
Driver: lets go, why did you leave the car, I told you I was coming
Saro: hajiya called and she was so worried, she asked me to leave this place that it was not safe
Driver: Hajiya too dey fear. Why did u listen to her?
We got to school by 9pm and it was raining.
Driver dropped saro in front of her hostel and left to saro's big bro place to sleep
