CHAPTER 45 – TOM
CHICAGOTom always felt that the best part of travelling anywhere, was coming home. As a young boy, when his grandparents had taken over his guardianship, he was allowed to go on summer camp, on occasional field trips with school, later even on impromptu seaside holidays with his friends. But no matter how much he had enjoyed these periods out of his usual existence, he always looked forward to his homecoming.
His favourite part was the first few days back, in which he would find everything as he had left it, but at the same time worthy of double his attention.
