CHAPTER 34 – JOANNA
WARSAWThe sun shone brightly on central Warsaw as Joanna made her way across the city to Magix, the web development agency where Marek had booked her a meeting. She’d stepped out for the first time this summer with only jeans and a short-sleeved shirt on and she revelled in the warmth of the morning. But even the glorious weather couldn’t fully lighten her mood, as she replayed the conversation with her aunt from the previous night.
Joanna had been excited to tell Irena about the website launch and to make up for their previous disagreement of the week before. They were both in a good mood and about to settle into a quiet dinner when she’d revealed that one of the first pieces would be her missing person’s report featuring Adam’s case profile.
