CHAPTER 19 – JOANNA WARSAWThe phone rang when Joanna was leaning against the wall of the shower attempting to wake herself up with an icy stream of water. Her insomnia was getting worse. She considered going to see her GP about it, but he would probably only give her sleeping tablets which would make her drowsy during the day and have no effect on her night’s sleep. She quickly stepped out to answer the call and cursed as she slipped on the bathroom floor, hitting her forehead on the edge of the sink.
