CHAPTER 26 – MATTY
LONDONMatty was surprised at how easy it had been for Dan to locate Stefania online. He wasn’t on f*******: himself, disliking the idea of everyone being able to gain an intimate insight into his life. But in situations like this, he acknowledged that it was useful to be able to message anyone you wanted.
Her strange name at least made them both certain that they had the right person. Dan had managed to find out that she worked for a small PR agency in Brixton and told her truthfully that Matty was ‘exploring his past’ and less truthfully that she was only one of several people from primary school that he was getting in touch with. After a short exchange, she agreed to meet Matty at the café below her office. He was half excited and half dreading the meeting.
