Warren’s POV
I strolled into class with my friends, and as usual, the girls were drooling and some were adjusting their shirts. I hissed inwardly and headed toward my seat with Chris and Derek.
We noticed a girl sitting in our spot, headphones on, head down on the table. Probably one of those girls who wanted attention. I frowned as Derek tapped on her desk. She looked up at us, narrowing her eyes.
“Stand up, b***h,” Chris said, smirking.
She frowned, her face turning red. That was when I saw her properly — the same girl I helped at the airport the other day.
She looks just like Kath… but Kathleen died four years ago. What’s going on? Am I hallucinating?
I snapped out of my thoughts when she spoke up.
“What did you just call me?” she asked, standing up, her eyes blazing like a tigress ready to pounce.
I wished Chris would just keep quiet — but that was a hopeless wish.
“A b***h. Isn’t that what you are?” he said.
“I dare you to repeat that,” she said through clenched teeth.
“BIT—”
He didn’t finish because her hand flew across his cheek, silencing him instantly. The sound echoed through the class. She raised her hand again to slap him, but I caught her wrist before she could.
I held her arm firmly and led her outside. Behind us, the class went wild.
🙆♀️ WTF! Did she just slap Chris?!
💅 Who does she think she is to touch my Chris?!
😤 I hate her already!
“Let me go, dumbass! I need to teach that guy a lesson,” she yelled, struggling to free her arm. Her long, silky hair fell forward, covering her face — she looked kind of funny.
I smiled without meaning to.
When I realized I was grinning like an i***t, I quickly frowned — just as Chris and Derek came out to join us.

Golden College
Antonio’s POV — 9:00 a.m. (Wednesday)
I walked downstairs and met Antony in the kitchen.
“Wassup, bro?” I said, slapping his back playfully.
“I’m cool,” he said, frowning. “Gosh, you stink! Go take a bath. You don’t want to be late for Mr. Gerald’s class.”
“Okay, sir,” I said, pretending to salute, and he laughed.
“What’s for breakfast?” Xavier asked as he walked down the stairs. His hair was damp — probably just got out of the shower — and, of course, he was shirtless. Typical.
I’m Antonio Randall, the hottest guy in Golden College (at least that’s what people say). My two closest friends are Antony and Xavier.
Antony’s a quiet type — his mom’s Korean and his dad’s American. He has that cool Korean look, and honestly, he’s hot. He’s also the only one among us who acts like a saint. He’s got two mischievous twin siblings too.
Xavier, on the other hand, is an only child. His parents are rich and busy — his dad works in my dad’s company, and his mom’s a judge — so they’re rarely around. He practically lives with us, and we’re tight.
“Ramen and scrambled eggs,” Antony said.
“Sounds yummy,” Xavier replied, sitting down and scrolling through his phone.
Antony’s a good cook — without him, Xavier and I would probably starve.
Suddenly, Xavier burst out laughing. He turned his phone to show me a picture, and I couldn’t help but laugh too. Antony peeked over, saw it, and just shook his head like a disappointed dad.
It was a girl’s nude photo. She was slim and flat, and yet, she had the guts to send it.
Xavier grinned. “She actually sent this herself.”
I just shook my head, still laughing. Xavier’s hot — I can’t blame the girl — but he’s a complete psycho when it comes to love. He got his heart broken once, and ever since, he’s become a full-time playboy.
As for Antony? He’s the holy one among us, always telling us to repent our sins.
