Well, honestly it seems like his majesty, Aurelius Shen does not really consider Claude as his friend because if he does consider him as a friend in the first place then it wouldn't actually draw his sword and point it right at his friend's neck. However, it is also quite possible that it is also just his way of showing that they are friends because obviously, he is not the type of man that would really be that affectionate towards another human being. Maybe he just drew his sword and pointed it right at Claude's neck as a warning and that he really does not want to end his life in the first place because he knows that if he did not do that it is possible that the latter would not stop in actually mentioning the woman named Carmilla right in front of me.
