I stared at the stars all night through the glass roof, unable to forget what had transpired today. I could still remember how Laura teared up on seeing the surprise I planned for her to celebrate her birthday.
It was even more unbelievable thinking of how she had initiated the kiss before running away and locking herself in her room all night.
Seeing as I had no plans of sleeping anytime soon, I stood up and walked towards the second door in my room. I listened for a while and when I heard no noise, I gently pushed it open.
I appeared inside Laura's walk in closet and quietly made my way over to the door. Pushing it slightly, I found her wrapped up in her bed with her back facing me.
