I had gone out to meet Tracy, only to be greeted with one of her ridiculous jokes. Thankfully, it did its job, pulling me out of the heavy atmosphere I’d just escaped at the Blackwood mansion.
We left immediately and she drove us straight to her boutique which I hadn't been to in a while.
“I didn’t know you had Amanda’s latest masterpiece already,” I exclaimed the moment we walked into her exhibition room. Amanda was a world-renowned designer whose name had been on every fashion headline lately. Her pieces never lingered in the market, as they were snatched before most people even knew they existed.
“Of course,” Tracy said with a proud little shrug.
My eyes landed on the black gown displayed on the center stand, and I couldn’t hold back my excitement “This is incredible.”
