LAURA Kaden strolled toward Mr. Simon with a cup of tea in his hand and as usual, that lazy smile tugging at his lips. “The tea you asked for,” he said, placing it gently on the table before turning to me. “Good morning, Laura,” he greeted as if nothing at all was wrong. “What are you doing in my office so early? And in my lounge?” I asked, trying to keep my tone calm. “Mr. Simon brought over some special tea from abroad and asked me to brew it. I used your kitchen.
