“You had the same vision twice?”
“More or less,” I shrugged, watching my dad as he paced around the small room.
We’d gathered in a small dressing room off the hall. Mitch, Claire, Amber, Ewan, Alec, Jade, my mom. I’d waited until Alec rejoined me on the dance floor before sending him to collect my parents, figuring they deserved some private time to be mushy and celebrate their engagement. Now, though, their attention was fully on me.
With so many people packed into the room, there was barely room to breathe, let alone pace. Everyone was leaning against walls or sitting down trying to make themselves small. Trying to give my large, angry and concerned father extra room.
