Autumn and Chrissy were taking their evening stroll. The misty air and light fog gave the neighborhood a murky appearance. With Lisa Coleman staying at her dad’s, Mickey was back home. They expected Stephanie, Ray, and Ace for dinner soon, so this would be a short walk.
A streetlight up ahead showed the figure of a woman wearing a scarf and a raincoat, her hands hidden in her pockets. As they approached the woman, she called out to them.
“Did you think you could catch me?”
Autumn squinted to see who it was and decided to stop where they were. The woman walked toward them.
