The chase 1

"Please don't do this to me,I love you so much" a female voice cried, out of Gilberto's phone. That's Angela, she's one of Gilberto's many girlfriends, she's been with him for six months now, Gilberto was fed up of her and has tried to break up with her,but she's the kind of girl that Gilberto refers to as "Leaches".

"Hey Angela see okay, I do not feel a damn thing for you, just stop disturbing me already, I think I might have to block your number for my peace" Gilberto replied on the phone, with a calm but yet slightly stern voice. He was fed up of Angela's obsession. He's had many girls on his palms,but he's always had a problem with the obsessive ones, they never let go and can take all kinds of nonsense from him. It was annoying and he tries to avoid those kind of ladies.

"Gilberto I promise if you" Angela was still speaking when Gilberto ended the call on her. "Oh f**k it , I hate obsession" he said while ending the call.

Gilberto closed his eyes trying to catch some wave of serenity, but his phone began to ring. "Oh my God, just kill me already, who's this now?" Gilberto says as he glances at his phone,and picked it up, it was Jake calling.

"Good afternoon sir" Jake said. "It is evening Jake, always with your greeting errors" Gilberto replied.

"Am sorry sir" Jake replied with so much respect. "Sir I have gotten information about the lady at the shoot the other day" Jake said.

"Ohh, alright send everything to my w******p, I will go through it when I have the chance to". Gilberto replied with an unappeased voice.

The call ended and Gilberto's phone beeped with a notification, he tapped into his w******p and there was the informations about the lady.

"Well well well, now let me get to know the human behind the iron mask" he said while scrolling through her info's.

"Gabriella Brooks?,hmmm cool name though. Wow her dad is Mr kelvin brooks, that's the owner Kelv industry. Ohh kayyy rich kid, I see why you're playing a tough nut" Gilberto murmured while going through her informations.

"Well miss Gabriella I have always gotten any girl I want and your not going to be any different" Gilberto said once done with the information.

The next day in the office, it was a bright promising morning, Gilberto had just finished having his coffee and was already going through some files.

"Sir miss Gabriella is here to see you" Stephanie voiced through the telephone. "Ohh alright let her in" he replied. He had earlier asked Henry to invite Gabriella to his office for some chit chats concerning her business deal with the company.Honestly he only just wanted to get to know her better and spend time with her. The thought of her couldn't escape his head last night, the memory of her beauty was tatted on his mind and he could hardly sleep .

"Sir Gilberto you asked to see me" a calm soothed,but bold feminine angelic voice brought him back to reality. It was Gabriella and she was standing right in front of him, looking so elegant, upright and composed.

"Yes yes Gabriella right?" He asked her trying to maintain his pride and focus,.

"Yes sir, you requested for me" Gabriella said ."miss Gabriella brooks, well I went through your informations and honestly I would say your the best fit for this job. You're a really beautiful lady you know that right?" Gilberto praised and asked.

"Well thanks I get that from tons of men already, well I appreciate." Gabriella responded with an unamused tone.

"Well Gabby, can I call you Gabby for short?" Gilberto asked. "Yeah you can, suit yourself." Gabriella responded. Honestly Gilberto was already feeling irritated by her arrogance but this is a work of art Infront of him, she was too pretty, he's had pretty ladies in many of his years, but something about this one drew his attention alot.

"Well Gabby,I was thinking if we could discuss your contract over a dinner,what do you say to that?" Gilberto asked trying to make sure he looks uninterested in her as possible as he could be.

"Nope no dinner, no lunch, no private talks with you, just your office, we do our business here and am gone" Gabriella replied.

"No one's ever turn down a dinner offer from me before, it's just dinner why you being hard miss?" Gilberto asked with a bit of order in his voice.

"First of all am not your slave so tone down mister, second of all you need to get used to finally seeing someone who's got brain and their own will around here, the world doesn't rotate around you." Gabriella slashed back at him with a calm but energetic tone and facial expressions that screams QUEEN!!! Leaving Gilberto in utmost surprise, no one has ever spoken to him in that manner,not even his parents.

"I will be leaving now if that's all get my contract ready if you need me, I will be here on Friday to sign it, and am going to do a good job for your new product." She said while standing up from her seat, then she walked down the door , turned around and said. " If there are any change of plans, like you not needing me anymore,send the message to my manager early, so I can reschedule my activities. Have a wonderful day Mr Gilberto, see you when my contract is ready, bye." She said and walked out the door.

Gilberto was taken aback, honestly he didn't know if he's offended or amazed? .

"Henry?!" Gilberto called. " Yes sir am here , anything sir?" Henry Answered while rushing in to the office.

"Ready my car I will be leaving in the next 10 mins" Gilberto ordered. " Alright sir" Henry said and rushed out of the office .

Gilberto picked up his phone and tapped on Gabriella's information, and stared at her in wonder. His mind was offended and amazed at the same time. Honestly his ego was poked too, his so used to the ladies falling at his feet, that seeing one who doesn't care if his existing made him feel challenged or insulted.

He's always believed whatever he wants he gets, and his not ready to let this girl be any difference.
