In a room that had just one candlelit chamber, two figures stood in the shadows.
“How much longer are we going to wait?” the first person said, sounding very impatient, tapping his feet rapidly on the ground.
“We must act as soon as possible. Her powers have already been activated. We can’t let this slip up. We should take her now.”
“Take her and do what exactly?” the second person replied. “Take her while she is still incomplete? You do understand the nature of what we are dealing with, right? Or should I remind you?”
“What’s going to be the difference if we take her now? The powers are bound by her soul.”
