I wake up to watch the sun rising over the horizon, past the forest, with all beautiful morning blue sky and the sounds of birds chirping through my open window. I must have forgotten to shut it again last night.
I also forgot to eat. The truth is I just didn't feel like eating. I wasn't sure I could get anything to stay down my throat and so I decided to skip my breakfast too. I despise myself for what has happened between Amaryllis and I.
"It's no use Goliath, I have to see her. Please take me to her," I beg of him.
"This will not end well for you Kieran, Amaryllis needs time and space, but I will take you through the forest," he gruffly replies.
Getting dressed I link Drake, as I know that he is likely to be the only one up at this hour,
"I'm going for a run.
