"Ready for what?" I ask, almost aware of how stupid a question that is.
"To finish what's been started," Gaia answers for them.
Both Sarah and my Mum fling their arms around Gaia.
"Thankyou," they murmer.
"Don't leave it that long, next time," Gaia says proudly back, holding them at arms length.
"And it was wonderful to finally meet you Amaryllis. Don't forget my invite, now go!"
