I am sitting in my father's office listening to him trying to bulls**t me about what happened.
It's made me sick that he hasn't told Marcia and Drew about Janet's demise and he has threatened Edward with his life if he speaks a word, the same to the guards who had witnessed everything. It surprises me how easily my father scares people.
"But anyway, it doesn't matter that Janet and Edward couldn't complete the job properly, I had the Fae check as to where Amaryllis is," my Father says proudly.
"Oh, and quite how do you know they are telling you the truth?" I ask sharply.
"Because it's in their best interests too. They don't need me as an enemy!" He snaps back.
"Go on then. Where is she?" I demand.
"In her coven."
"And do you know where she lives?" I ask patiently
