Sebastien’s POV Hours had slipped by in that still room, and I hadn't even noticed and that scared me a little. I always knew when I'd slept wrong like a rookie missing a block. My body kept score even when my brain checked out, while the storm kept tearing through outside. The bright morning sun hit my eyes. I groaned and sat up on the soft couch. It was five in the morning but I used to wake up at four without an alarm. Now I couldn't even hold onto time. My neck hurt and my mouth felt dry.
