“Wait, what?” Raina froze, her breath catching as she didn’t expect to hear that name from her brother’s lips. She stared at him, her eye brows raised. “Lucas? Lucas Kingston?”
Ryan nodded, clearly confused by her reaction. “Yeah… Is something wrong?”
Something was very wrong.
Raina’s heart began to pound. Of all the companies in the city, of all the people Ryan could have worked for, it had to be Lucas Kingston. The Same one who barely looked at her when she visited the Kingston estate. The one whose name always came with tension wrapped around it like barbed wire.
And most of all the same one Aaron doesn’t really get along with.
