Raina gently placed the glass cup down on the kitchen counter, the soft clink echoing slightly in the quiet room. It had been over twenty minutes since she had left the bedroom, and she figured that was more than enough time for Aaron to shower, get dressed, and possibly cool off after his usual morning mood. She wasn’t exactly in a hurry to return to the room—especially not after he’d splashed water on her like some sort of military wake-up call. Still, she knew she had to face him eventually.
