Summer Wedding: Part 3
Elizabeth felt something grab her left hand, it was the boy, she pushed him up with all of her strength but he didn't budge, he had managed to get tangled up in the reeds and he was stuck. Elizabeth searched frantically until she found his trapper legs and began ripping at the reeds. Once free, she pushed him up to the surface. Elizabeth was lightheaded and couldn't hold her breath any longer, breathing out. The bubbles climbed to the surface. Elizabeth mustered the last of her strength and followed. Once they were both above water, she grabbed his waist and pulled him to the edge of the lake. There was a small crowd gathered, she could hear screaming, crying and gasps, James pulled up the little boy, he was pale and unresponsive, James began cpr, Mason pulled Elizabeth from the water and
