CHAPTER 15By Saturday morning, Throckmorton’s new security system was installed and tested. Throckmorton looked at the invoice and prayed there would be something valuable in Otto’s safe. Ben watched cartoons before lunch while Throckmorton talked to Eric, the contractor Gert had recommended. Eric was tall and dressed in worn blue jeans, work boots, and a denim shirt, the sleeves rolled to his elbows. They bent over a blueprint of the Kessler office building spread on Throckmorton’s dining room table. “Looks nice, but what’ll it cost?” Throckmoron asked. Eric stretched and massaged his lower back with both hands.
