"Don't worry, I'm here." After dealing with Mark, Chris returned to Celestia, picked her up to comfort her, and stepped over Mark's body to leave.
Due to her extreme fear, Celestia fainted in Chris's arms, letting him do as he wished. But he knew for certain that he was the person who made her feel the most secure at that moment. After putting Celestia in the car, he called Paul to handle the scene, pay her rent, and check her out of the hotel.
When Paul arrived, all that was left was chaos. The sky had darkened, with only a few small lights outside. Inside, Mark was still lying there, groaning in pain, too scared to remove the dagger himself. He was completely exhausted, having been beaten so badly.
"Help, help me..." Mark whispered, lying motionless on the ground.
