I stretched my sore limbs and out a groan feeling the pain in my head. Yawning as I receive the revolting taste of my morning breath. My eyes tiredly tail to my phone that is lit up and buzzing like crazy. My hair sprawled all over my face. I stand up with a yawn and realize that this room wasn't my dorm room at all.
I look around confused as ever until I remembered that i went to a party the night before.
I go to the nearest bathroom and check myself.
God, I look like death.
I look up at the clock that was on the wall and saw it was past the time of my class that I was supposed to attend.
I hurriedly scanned through the mysterious bathroom until I found a brush and started to part my hair in the middle while brushing the blond short strands of hair back.
I know it was horrible of me to take something that wasn't mine, but I really needed clothes and I wasn't' about to show up at college smelling like beer, throw up, and...omg.
I didn't think twice about what to do next. I ran out and into different rooms looking for girl clothes which I found easily.
I put on jeans and a sweater, then put my necklace back on before grabbing my phone and leaving.
As I was exiting the house I found people passed out all over the house. As I made my easy foe the stairs I made sure to not step on anyone, reaching the bottom I dashed out of the door and looked for Cameron's car seeing it was still parked here.
I decided to run back in the house and looked in almost every room until I went back up on to the first floor going to the last room across from the room I was in, I went inside and saw him lying in the bed naked.
I covered my eyes and walked over to him shaking him awake and jumping back as I felt him sit up.
"Morning cam, look we have to go, classes started and we're late. Meet you at your car, k.
I grabbed his keys and practically flew out of the room. Embarrassed was an understatement to see my friend naked but to like what I saw was just weird.
I got to his car and unlocked the door hopping in and pulling the mirror down as I dug through my bag looking for my make-up bag.
I applied a little and smacked my lips together hoping I wouldn't have to talk to anyone today thanks to not having a backup toothbrush.
I checked my phone and saw a heap load of text's from Jace this morning.
Jace: Hello
Jace: Where are you?
Jace: It's already 3 am you should really be back at the dorms scar
Jace: Please at least text or call me back or I swear I will be calling the cops
Me: Jace, I'm fine okay, I'll talk to you later.
I put my phone down and looked up not too long afterward seeing Cameron approaching the car.
I put my phone on my lap and leaned over unlocking the driver's side door.
Thanks were the only word he said to me as he began to drive back to campus.
Every now and then I would look at him to see why the hell he wasn't talking to me, so I did.
"Hey, can we stop by one of these cafes? I'm hungry." I announced and he never once turned to look at me or replied back to my question.
I rolled my eyes as he pulled up into the parking lot of a café. I was intended to talk to him while we would be waiting for our food but the next thing that surprised me was what he said next.
"I'll stay in the car you can go ahead and eat, don't take to long."
He said it so dull I almost didn't believe him.
"What?"
"You heard me scar, just hurry up and go eat so we can go."
I got out of the car taking my phone and bag slinging it over my shoulder as I began to walk.
"Where are you going?"
"Far away from you!" I say pissed off. Walking to the nearest bus stop and taking a seat on one of the benches.
"Listen I'm sorry alright, just get in the car."
"No, I tried talking to you and it's like you're unsettled or mad at me. Like the hell did I do?"
"I can't tell you.", "and why not?"
"Because scar, it will probably hurt our friendship."
I huffed and turned my head. "Just go cam, see you at the campus."
"I'm not leaving you here"
So frustrated by now I pulled at my hair and look at him.
"Just f*****g go damn it!!" I yell at him and without a second glance, he sped away.
I sighed and hung my head down thinking.
What the hell couldn't he tell me? We were friends, right? Aren't you supposed to tell tour friends everything?...almost everything.
The squeaking of the city bus coming to a halt pulled me out of my daze.
I stood up and waited for the doors to open, stepping onto the bus I handed the bus driver the money before taking a seat in the back on the bus.
I leaned my head on my arm that was now propped up on the side of the window frame.
As fast as I close my eyes, I opened them.
I got off of the bus along with a few other people and walked towards the entrance of the campus.
Walking in and around the back of the office building to my building, I walked up the 3 flights of stairs going to my dorm door and digging in my pocket getting my key out.
After what happened this morning I decided to skip class to avoid Cameron and Jace.
Of course, I couldn't avoid Jace for too long as he lives here we would be bound to see each other and I'm 100% positive he will drown me in questions. However I need to find out what the hell is Cameron hiding from me.
