Her Future

Chapter Thirteen

She woke the next morning with the urge to pee, badly, she also felt like throwing up again, this was hell. when she went to move she felt a heavy arm keeping her trapped to the bed, groaning she looked over to see Dean fast asleep, looking at the time it was almost 10 am.

She pushed his arm off of her in a hurry, if she didnt make it to the bathroom now she wasnt going to make it at all. She didnt realize as she threw his arm off of her that she woke him up, he had caught her just running to the bathroom and slamming the door. next thing he heard was her getting sick.

Dean jumped up and threw the bathroom door open running to her to rub her back, "Get out!" she told him between heavs.

"No." he said calmly.

"Damn it i said leave!" another heave. 

"No this is my child to making you sick, the least i can do is try to make you feel better." he said massaging her back as she heaved, when she was done she groaned and sat back, looking up at him. "Are you better?" he asked so sweetly.

She ignored his question, "Why were you in my bed?" she asked.

"You were having a bad dream when i carried you to bed, i wanted to comfort you it seemed to help then i passed out." he said scratching the back of his head.

"Oh." was all she had said. She hated that even when she was pissed at him he did things to make her love him more. She hated that as well.

Getting up she brushed her teeth, then turning around shelooked at him. "What?" He asked looking up at her while he sat on the edge of the tub.

"I need to shower Dean, first i need to pee." she said.

"Ok." was all he said and stayed were he was.

Most women would have been pissed if the man had done that but for some reason, blame it on hormones she laughed, "Get the hell out Dean." she said.

He laughed with her and got up to give her a hug, "Dont," she said all laughter gone as she backed away from him, "I'll just go get some coths and come back." she stated and left.

Dean just let his arms fall to his sides and he walked out to the kitchen where he was surprised to see his brother and his bestfriend making out, he cleared his throat, "Gross." he said going to the coffee pot. he couldnt say he minded at all Milly was the greatest person ever and his brother needed a woman like her.

Milly cleared her throat and turned to eye ball him, "Shut the hell up, we had to watch you smooch Mommas in there for how long?" she asked being sassy.

"Mommas?" Was all Dean said and when it dawned on him he stared to laugh. "Well Mommas is in the bathroom." he told her.

Taking the hint she went to chat with her friend in the bathroom so the men could talk alone. They both watched her walk away when she was out of ear shot dean looked at James and smiled, "its about damn time brother." he said.

James blushed, "Shut the hell up." he said with a chuckle.

Dean sighed, "How am i going to fix this big brother?" he asked him.

James looked down at his brother sitting at the table with a cup in his hands and his head down. "I dont know Dean, you messed up alot when it comes to Tobie, it would be a miracle if she ever forgave you." he said.

Dean sighed, "I know."

"She is a good woman too Dean not every woman would let a man be around her child if he had acted like you had." he stated.

"Now you know one of the reasons why i need to fix this." he said to his brother.

"Give her time, she has been through alot and is going through alot, pregnancy makes women nuts." he told his brother with a smile, thinking back about Jake.

"I can imagine." Dean replied. They both shared a laugh, when the women came back in. Octobers hair was french braided down her back she had on yoga capris and an tank top.

She noticed his stare and shrugged, "Cloths are starting to get a bit small." she said and walked off to eat a banana, Dean just chuckled.

"Hey we can go baby shopping!" Milly said brightly James groaned Dean agreed and October felt trapped but knew she would have to eventualy.

"James are you working today?" she asked him.

"No my dear i am not." he said.

October laughed because he had a scared look on his face, "I was wondering if you would take Percy with you while we go out." she asked.

James gave a sigh of relief, "Yep, sure will." he said all to excitedly about it, making everyone laugh again.

Milly had filled her in on her and James while she showered, she was over joyed with the idea and was happy for her friend, even though her heart hurt, it wasnt to long ago someone had made her smile just as but as that, now her life was quiet and sad again. October looked down at her belly rubbing it, i cant wait utnill your here little bean, she thought to her baby.

A few hours later Milly and Dean had her so packed full of baby item she didnt know what to do with it all. As they unloaded the last of it into the house October stopped and looked around. "I think i might have to give this place up and find a bigger home." she said.

Milly agreed and Dean piped up, " I have a big enough home." he said to her.

"I dont think that is a great idea Dean." she told him.

He frowned at her, "Why not? i have 3 bedrooms one for me one for you and once for the baby. you wouldnt have to spend extra cash on a new home." he said.

October knew it was a good idea, she just didnt know if living with him would be great for her. "I'll think about it alright?" she told him, to which ne nodded with a smile on his face.

"Dean i have an appointment next month for the baby, do you want to go?" she asked him.

He beamed at her, "Of course i do i want to go to all of them." he said to her.

She smiled back at him, "Alright.", they decided to shove all the baby stuff in her closet, getting it out of the way as she made lunch for the three of them, when it was finished they all sat down and she looked at the two of them, "You two need to go back to work." she stated.

They both looked at her then at each other, "She is right Dean."

Dean frowned at his friend, "I know this but she needs protection."

"Dude, she has me she has you and she has James, not to mention when she is at work she has Nancy, if we take turns she will be fine." Milly retorted.

"Oh for f***s sake." October said to the both of them. "I'll be fine while all of you work i dont need round the clock watch, he has sent a few letters that is all when i have people around he stays away. The two times i got letters was when i was alone for at least a day. I'll be fine, go to work one of you come back simple as that." she said.

Both of them agreed and they would open the Bar back up in the morning. Tomorrow she had to work at the aquarium so she would be fine and it was going to be a long day she'll be there with Nancy until she leaves, everything was going to work out just fine.

She didnt know when Mark was going to attack but she knew it wouldnt be anytime soon, he was calculated, he would plan so he wouldnt get caught, this would take him some time. he just hoped he wouldnt hurt the baby. she was deep in thought about it when Dean asked, "October?" 

she looked at him, "Yeah?"

He swallowed his nervousness, "Those tickets to Hawaii are still open and its set for two days from now." he told her, "Do you still wish to go?" he was hoping she would still want to he could use the time to win her back.

He had no such luck, "I dont think it would be a great idea anymore Dean," she told him. "Besides after everything happened i put in more hours at work and its too late to take them back." she told the lie like it was a part of life she did get extra hours but she could still change her mind when ever she wanted, she just didnt want to.

"Alright." he said, "Ill cancell the trip as soon as i can."

She smiled a thank you to him and went back to eating her food, this was the first morning she felt good enough to eat after getting sick, she wasnt going to waste it, baby need food. She had noticed that Dean kept looking at her, so she adressed it, "What?" she asked.

"I'm sorry, i just wanna..." he stated and used his hand in a motion to rub her belly.

She smiled at him, how could she say no when all he wanted was his child, so she sat back and let him rub her still flat belly. His face got soft and he smiled so genuine over it, as if he couldnt believe he had his own child on the way, then he looked up at her smiling with her, he took her breath away and broke her heart when he said what came next, "Your so beautiful, I love you." he then froze, not realizing he had said that out loud to her for the first time, he watched her face as it changed from happy to pain in seconds of hearing his words to her. she got up and walk away, going outside to sit.

"Shit." he said.

"I'll say." said a surprised Milly at the other chair.

"Well i ment to tell her but not this early or like that." he said to his friend.

"Awe big bad man woves wittle woman." she mocked laughing.

"Shut up twit." he said to her smiling at her. "I think i hurt her again."

"No i dont think so, i think she hurts for what you guys had once before you got stupid." she said to him.

"Thanks friend." he said flatly, "I'm guna go talk to her." Milly just nodded at him to go. as he walked out he kneeled down beside October and took her hand in his which she drew away.

"Quit touching me damn it Dean," she said getting up and walking off the porch to the water.

"October wait." he said running after her. "I'm sorry." he said.

She spun around, "For what? for ditching me twice? for ignoring me for not being there for me for saying you love me just a minute ago. Do you Dean? Do you love me or is it the baby?" she yelled.

He hadnt seen this side of her, her hurt side, he wanted so badly to just hold her and tell her he loved her and how sorry he was utnil she believed him, but she wouldnt let him touch her, "I'm sorry for everyting, i know i did f****d up s**t, im scared he is going to take you away from me like the accident took my parents, thats what i was afraid of, i am even more afraid now because i love you. i loved you before i knew you were pregnant, i just thought it was about the s*x so i ignored you. i thought if it was because of s*x i would be able to get over you. but i couldnt get you the f**k out of my head, then my brother got ahold of me about yesterday, i came so quick and when i seen you i felt it all come back to me. I didnt lie October i just said it at the wrong time." he said to her.

That was alot for her to take it, "It doesnt change things Dean." she told him, "Its not wise for us to be together." she said tears in her eyes.

"Why the hell not? Were having a baby." he said.

"You cant just be with someone over a baby, coparenting is a thing now, you have to have trust and goals and you have to have each other, i cant trust you to have me and i cant trust you wont leave me again when s**t gets hard." she said..

"I wont leave you." he told her.

"I dont believe you." she replied.

"What do i have to do?" he asked her despratly.

"Nothing, i told you just be a father."

Feeling himself sink lower he just shook his head, "I wont force you to want me back, but i wont give up." he said to her. 

"Wanting you was never the problem Dean, it was needing you, you always left when i needed you." she said and walked back in side and shut herself in her room, clearly done with the argument.
