Chapter Three

October woke up the next day feeling refreshed and very energetic, what she did the night before still made her a little flushed but she knew now that maybe seeing someone else wouldnt be a bad thing, after she had found out she could infact have orgasms she wanted to see if she could have one with another man, this might make her sound kind of slutty but she was experiencing everything for the first time, like a new baby in the world or a person who got to hear for the first time, she wanted to dive right in, so in hopes that Mr. Hunky will be at the bar this morning she put on a cute blue sundress, leaving her hair down and putting on no make up she slipped on some sandals and walked the short way to the bar not to farm from home.

Brothers Bar was quiet nice and tidy, it had more than enough room a stage for a band and a dancing area for the very drunken nights, she would have to make note to have dinner or drinks here some night before her work started in just a half a week. Her brain then shifted to the shark expo she would be attending here in a few days as a start of her work. they would go cage diving and introduce the surrounding sharks to the people. Not knowing she was going to be around them and funding the research was just the way she wanted it. she didnt want anyone giving her special treatment untill she started to work there.

As she sat down at the bar deep in thought she didnt see Dean come out of the kitchen and stop to stare at her. It was true he was stunned she was there, she was in a blue sundress that had one huge sunflower on the back of it were it tied her hair was let loose and was windblown and cascading down her back, she had her glasses on and her chin resting on her fists with her elbows on the counter, it looked as if she was deep in thought, so he just took a minute to watch her, she was a little flushed and he assumed it was from the wind as it had a bit of a bite to it today. But she was beautiful, her beauty seemed to always leave him breathless as he watched her. "Thats kind of creepy boss man." said his waitress Milly. Milly was a great worker and she was a great woman also at one time people thought they would end up together but they were to close of friends and both agreed to not ruin it, he loved her, and other than his mother she was the only woman he loved.

"That may be but there is something about her." he said not taking his eyes off of October.

"So that is the girl that bought the Henry house huh?" she asked while standing with Dean.

"Yes she is, did alot of work to it also." he replied.

"Well dont just stand there you creep go over and talk to the woman." Dean looked at her sharply to which she smiled really big scrunching up her face at him, the look that always made him chuckle. Some man was going to be lucky to have this woman in his life.

Dean slowly walked over to her, she hadnt yet noticed him, which made him grin, "Hows it going today pretty lady?" he asked.

October jumped a little at Deans voice and her face flushed with embarrasment. "Oh hi, im sorry, i have a lot on my mind." she said and Deans heart stopped as she turned to him and smiled like it was a brand new day for her. right then all he wanted to do was kiss those full lips of hers.

She looked closely at him this time with the smile on her face, she didnt know how she would go about getting into this mans pants but she'd figure it out she wasnt quiet ready yet for a man to touch her again but she was working towards it, he wore a tight white t-shirt with jeans that accented his ass quiet nicely she could even see the tattoo through the shirt as he stood there looking at her like she had just smacked him silly, suddenly her face fell, "What?" she asked, "Did i do something wrong?" she said wiping her face and heading to stand up.

Quickly Dean said, "No! please stay seated, I've just never seen you smile and it cought me off guard." he replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry." she said and looked down.

"That seems to be a habbit for you." he stated with a frown.

October looked around then back into his grey eyes, "What is?" she asked dumbfounded.

"You saying your sorry all the time, you have done anything to be sorry about." he said to her putting his arms on the bar and getting his face closer to hers.

Suddenly she couldnt breath, did it get hot in here, she thought to herself, she swallowed hard and was about to apologize again when a woman stepped up and said bluntly to him, "Stop scaring the poor girl Dean you asshat." she said to him, all he did was look at her, she grinned and extended her hand out to October, "Hi I'm Milly, I'm the waitress here." she said with a smile as October grabbed her hand.

"Hi I'm October, or Tobie, or Tober, either one it doesnt matter, I'm so sorry i didnt know the two of you...." October hushed up when both of them started laughing at her.

"Tobie, hmm... i like it that shall be your name for me, I like her Dean we must keep her! By the way he is not my boyfriend more like my brother YUCK!" She said and came around to sit next to October. "So Tobie were do you come from?" she asked beeming at her.

October had to take a minute to collect her thoughts, she didnt understand what was so funny but couldnt help but smile at the two of them, and be a little relieved that she wasnt his girlfriend, Milly was very pretty she had a pixie cut hair do that was blond and just came shy of her ears, it sooted her quite well actualy she was shorter than October by a good two feet at least, She was a little on the muscular side which was kind of awsome considering October never seen someone like her in her life.

Suddenly she smiled again knowing she was going to like this woman, "Oh I'm from Philly." she replied.

"Wow, what made you come all the way here? Damn thats a long way to move." she said.

The smile fell from Octobers face, "Just wanted a new start I guess." she said looking at her i.

Milly knew that look well, its one every woman knows, it was heart break, "Oh thats nice so what do you do for a living? you must make enough to be able to overhaul the Henry place." she asked her.

"Well when I was there I was a lawyer, but now that I'm here and the real reason why i traveled so far is because I'm very interested in marine biology mainly sharks I specialize in them, I will be starting at the aquarium starting the middle of next week." she said to her. Both Dean and Milly looked shocked.

"Girl are you planning on swimming with them?!" Milly asked in a panic.

October laughed at her look. "Well yes, cage diving at first until I get used to them then I will free swim with them, their just simple creatures really." she said with a dreamy look on her face.

Milly looked taken back. "Oh ok well I'll let you have fun with that, why the huge career change?" she asked.

October tensed a little, "There is just alot to it." she said and gave the woman a soft smile.

Milly was about to ask more when Dean interupted, "Millz obviously she doesnt want to talk about it your a stranger calm down and get back to work." he told her.

"Oh hush you, I'm trying to be her friend YOURE trying to get into her pants like the horny toad you are, I'll get back to work but you watch it mister." she said to him. "It was nice meeting you Tobie, hope we can hang out."

"Of corse." October said to her want watched her walk away. She would be lieing if she were to say what came out of Milly's mouth hadnt stunned her, she looked over at Dean to see that his face was red and he was watching his friend walk away.

" I should have fired her before I highered her." he said and looked back at October.

Her heart was beating so fast right now, was what she said true did he like her like that and she was so blind she couldnt see it, he smiled at her again she jumped a little swallowing the lump in her throat the progress she had mentaly made kind of broke a little so she changed the subject. 

"where can i get a dog?" she asked Dean.

Dean just stared at her for about two minutes before starting to laugh out loud. "Well I cant say I expected you to ask me that after what Milly had just said." he responded.

Of corse he had to bring this back around, so she would just let him know what her mind was thinking, screw it, "Look Dean, I'm not fully looking for something and i dont have much interest in a womans man but i also cant deny that yes you do things to me, i sometimes notice how you look at me and though i have no idea why you would be interested in me, maybe well just see where it goes?" she said to him.

To say he was shocked was an understatement and he could tell that what she had just said to him took alot out of her, she was scared shitless right now, all he wanted to do was jump over the counter and kiss the hell out of those lips that had haunted his dreams last night, but he also knew that to have her he would have to take things slowly and be gentle with her until she was comfortable with her. 

"Ok little one. How about we take this slower, it is no lie i love the women but i dont disrespect them either i can tell you have never came at a man like you just did and i respect that, and yes i am atracted to you and i would love to see how we end up." he replied with a sexy smirk.

October swallowed again, he made her so nervouse, "Maybe just tell me where i can find a dog? a big one?" she said looking at him with wide eyes.

He just couldnt help the feelings he had when she looked at him like that so he smiled and came around the counter, "Milly i am going to help her find a dog take care of the place you can have tomorrow off." he hollered.

October laughed when she seen the woman stick her head out of the kitchen door way with a big smile, "OH SNAP YOU GO IT BOSS MAN WOOT!"

Alll Dean could do was shake his head and chuckle as he lead October out the door with his hand on the small of her back. She was shaking because of the contact he was making, scared a little she stepped out of his grasp. It didnt go unnoticed.

"Its alright October, im sorry i did that just tell me when you want me to touch you alright?" he said in a kind voice.

Was this man real? she asked herself but replied anyways in a small voice, "Maybe not right now." she said looking at her hands.

Dean smiled at her she was just to cute, "All right little one, lets go find you a dog." he said and took off walking he looked to his side surprised to see she was following him at his pace, he very much liked that the one thing he hated was walking at a snails pace. they walked for a few blocks and turned the corner to a vets office, "They just had a few Irish wolf hounds surrendered to them a few months ago i think they still have a few left." he said and held the door open for her.

"Irish wolf hound?" she asked looking at Dean.

Dean looked back at her stunned that she didnt even know what kind of dog it was. "Do you now know about them?" he asked.

She shrugged, "I've never been able to even have a goldfish." she said to him.

Deans face said it all, wtf, is what he was thinking so he took her inside and told the women behind the desk that he was going to take her back to look at the dogs, and she let him. when they got back in the kennel area all she seen were dogs, all she heard were barking, she giggled and hurried up to a cage to coo and pet all the dogs there. Dean stood back and watched her delighted face at every cage door. he didnt understand who would just let someone not expierience having some kind of animal, he pittied the way she was raised or the people she had been around. Maybe some day she will open up to him, wait, what was he thinking? as far as he was concerned he wasnt going to have a relationship with this woman he just wanted her and she confirmed she wanted him as well, so why was he thinking long term? what the hell was it with this woman?

Suddenly October gasped and put her hands to her mouth, Dean rushed over to her and was about to ask if she was ok when she pointed with tears in her eyes, he looked over and sighed he knew it, "Yes my dear those are the wolf hounds." there was only one left in there and it was sitting on the cot the furthest away from the cage door shaking, Dean watched as she walked up slowly to the kennel door and crouched down waiting, the pup started to wine, then her soothing voice started.

"Oh now dont cry little baby, it'll be alright." she said, and the pup instantly calmed down. looking at her with curiouse eyes, when she talked more it started to slowly move towards her like it was in a trance untill its body was pressed up agenst the kennel door waiting for her affection. "I would love to take you home. Would you like that as well?" she asked it scratching its head behind the ears. Dean mumbled about going to go get a helper. she wasnt paying attention she just sat there in her pretty dress petting the scared puppy. when he came back the helper unlocked the kennel and the pup flung itself at October.

"Well looks like you have a new baby, that there pup refuses to let anyone touch it and when we would he would just scream at us, ive never seen him do this." she said looking at him.

"I'ts a boy?" October asked, to which the woman nodded, October smiled, "I'll take him, Thank you Dean for helping me find him. I shall call you Persy." she said holding the pup close to her chest.

"Alright dear, so fair warning," the woman said as they walked out of the kennel with Persy in her arms. "He is a wolf hound he will get VERY big he will need lots of food and time to run, he will need toys to chew because they will destroy everything if not, he is used to puppy pads at night but ill go outside durring the day an will let you know when he wants to go out." she filled October in on everything she needed to know, October bought his food and accessories there at the vet store because, well , it was just easier than going to other stores at the moment. about five hundred dollars later she was walking home with a puppy.
