My mom left for a spa day with her girlfriends early in the morning. I brewed a pot of coffee, defrosted Nana D"s blueberry scones, and tossed some turkey sausages in the frying pan. If my father were on time, he"d arrive any moment for the breakfast I"d suggested he attend the day before.
