Friday morning, Cassian drove to school carefully. He had not done it in a while, and usually when he drove someone was next to him. When he made it, he grinned proudly at himself wondering why he was so nervous about driving to school anyway and climbed out of his car. He was immediately met with some of his friends, who excitedly talked about the new car for a few minutes before he glanced across the parking lot but frowned when he did not see Theodore’s car. Was he not at school? Theodore had seemed really surprised by his invitation on the call the previous night, but eventually said he would check with his parents.
