The next morning, I woke up to a tiny hand under my chin, tickling me. I groaned and pretended to be asleep as I rolled over, then I threw my leg over my son and tickled him until he shouted for me to stop. Santiago was already up, and from the kitchen I heard the sound of the coffee grinder. I couldn’t quite make out the scent, but the whole house smelled delicious. Apparently, Saw thought so, too, because before I could suggest it, he was out the door and down the hall to the kitchen. I got myself up and wandered down in a pair of Santiago’s boxers and my T-shirt. Savannah was just rising, too, but she had somehow managed to have a very cute set of pjs to sleep in.
